Oceania Contest, 12.-13. October 2002

HB9CZF - SOAB HP

Last year I won the competition from Switzerland but it was an easy victory. I was the only entrant. Anyway the contest committee sent me a nice award and in turn I have to thank with another participation. Conds were good and KH6ND brought a nice signal Sunday morning. On 40m ZL6QH was 20dB weaker compared to WAE-Contest. Saturday night I juggled between Oceania and Eu Sprint Contest with two setups in TRLog.

Non-Contest-QSO's were: 8N1OGA (Ogasawara) and R1ANZ.

Rig: Ten-Tec Omni VI+, TL-922 with 500W
Ant: 3el Yagi for 10-20m and 41m LW for 40/80m.
