HB9CZF - SOAB CW HP

Due to other commitments over the weekend I could only play a bit S&P Sunday night. ZL6QH produced an S7 signal on 40m and on 80m it was just over the noisefloor.

Here you can listened to the Quartz Hill signal on 80m. ZL6QH was running the usual antennas to Europe - Vee beams with 300m legs aimed at the Short and Long Paths and the output power was 800W. On my side I only had a 41m LW which is between 10 and 15m above ground.

ZL6QH on 80m in QSO with DL0XM, HB9CZF and OM8ON (245kB). As you can hear the number I received is not the one I have in my log. Too bad but at least an 80m QSO to ZL.

XY3C brought me a new country outside the contest.

Rig: Ten-Tec Omni VI+, TL-922 with 500W
Ant: 3el Yagi for 10-20m and 41m LW for 40/80m.
