Field Day - CW, 2 - 3 June 2007

Our usual QTH Eggmatt (JN47AK) was selected for Field Day 2007. Fog and mist was experienced during setup on Saturday afternoon. Luckily no raindrop was seen and on Sunday even the sun came through.

Ant: 3el Trap-Beam, dipol for 40, 80 and 160m.

Although we tested the rotator on the ground it wouldn't work 10m in the sky. Therefore, the beam was stuck North all weekend. Conds were not too bad and especially the Sporadic E opening on Saturday evening brought 115 QSO on 10m into the log. Since we were running 500W we had to dig out many week signals - QRP and Restricted categories.

and at 5pm our neighbours went home as well. The electric cattle fence could barely be heard.
